Great sketch. I met Ismael in New York last year. A really nice guy, and a very talented artist.
Thanks for your comment on my book illustration. It is gouache indeed. a medium I like very much, because it allows one to create 3d effects in a vivid way.

Thank you Wouter. I've never met Ismael in person, just known him through email. Yeah, love your gouache work, that's a medium that I've never really messed with, although I've been tempted to try it to save time on deadlines. Over all, I may be addicted to oils.

Gon, long time no write, nice to hear from you, glad you like what you see. I will try and take a picture of my brother's painting today, been busy painting it as well as being involved with a few other things.
